While we were busy looking at
all kind of stuffs at Olvera Street,
Suddenly I saw this big sign
about the eldest existing house in LA
THE AVILA ADOBE...
It seemed interesting
and of course it was also free entrance...
So we entered!
From history of water in LA
to the interior of eldest house
we finished the visit of The Avila Adobe
in 10 minutes....
Lol!
After this quick visit,
we continued the more exciting (window) shopping
at Olvera Street...
From music to shopping,
we had fun at this little street....
Another free admission thingy
was this
America Tropical Interpretive Center...
A museum of history
dedicated to the life and legacy of David Alfaro Siqueiros....
Then we walked pass
Museum of Social Justice,
El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical Monument
where people were dancing there...
and also
Pico House...
From there
we walked to Chinatown...
and it was amazing
to see an area
totally looks like Asia!
We went to this Chinese fast food,
Lucky Deli to have our simple lunch....
then continued the sight-seeing
around Chinatown....
From Dynasty Shopping Center
to Chinatown Saigon Plaza...
we spent like 1 hour walking
round and round
in these places....
From there we then walked to
Chinatown Central Plaza...
We were there like 5 minutes
and not interested to see more because
we have seen enough chinese stuffs when we traveled in Asia.
We left Chinatown
and went back to the square with
El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical Monument...
After watching the native american performing
their cultural dance,
we visited the Plaza Firehouse
& Chinese American Museum...
Then we walked back to
Grand Central Market....
Grand Central Market
was a lot more crowded at that time
than we arrived in the morning....
Standing between Angels Flight Railway
and Grand Central Market,
from there we took an uber
and go back to Anaheim...
To be continued...
XOXO
