16-01-2021 Bong & His WINTER Update 5- Tromsø Without Snow on the New Year's Day
From 21st December 2020 until 1st Jan 2021,
I have seen many days of aurora....
and strangely enough,
we almost did not see any snow
in the north throughout the entire trip!
On our last day of the trip,
we decided to go for a walk...
I got to see the beautiful Tromsø city center
without white snow...
and that was really unusual
in December.
This "Polar night" (mørketid)
that I have heard for many many times
was actually not as dark as I thought...
but that was also because we had been
extremely lucky with the weather.
Well,
I have seen some "rare" things during this trip
Northern light +
Tromsø & Malangen without snow....
Not to forget,
a few days with stormy, windy weathers as well...
For an experience!
