We used the same terrain,
headed back to the bus stop...
We followed some signs
pointing us to another viewpoint,
then ended up at this Mirador Valldemossa,
whih is right beside this restaurant named Troya.
After spending almost 3 hours at Valldemossa,
we took a bus and went back to the city center in Palma...
From Plaça d'Espanya
(central plaza with many interesting stuffs,
like Monument al Rei Jaume I "El Conqueridor
and Barómetro de Gaspar Bennazar - the weather forecast station),
we walked to this very local place,
Bar Sa Gavina to have our late lunch.
Their food was OK,
not super good but at least cheap and big portion!
The most interesting part about dining here
is this liquor serving...
that we were not entirely sure
if it was free to everyone,
or one can choose the liquor they want....
Well,
at least we got ours free!
Lol!
The next day,
we had our late lunch at a nearby restaurant,
3 Chicos....
Their quesadilla and Jack burger were very yummy,
highly recommended!!!
After the big meal,
we went for a walk...
to a nearby BIG shopping mall named
Mallorca Shopping.
Finally I could take some nice pictures of the windmill,
not in a bus or car,
but these were not so "aged-looking" and nice hehe!
One way journey took us about 30 minutes,
and not all places had proper walking pavements....
I must say we did not shop much there
although it was a lot of nice branded stores....
Right beside the branded stores was
a Carrefour,
and yes we could find our stuffs there! Lol!
The next day,
we spent a "proper" day in the city center of Palma...
First at Plaça Major,
this nice public square with shops,
cafes and restaurants...
and everything around it was just breathtaking!
We had our lunch there....
(Yeay! I got my paella)
and then
we walked towards the direction
to La Rambla.
This street is a notable street,
with lots of stalls selling flowers
(fate right? Arne had to look at flowers during his holiday too!)
We then walked towards another direct from
Plaça Major....
a more touristy area
and going towards the beach and Llotja de Palma....
We walked by Ajuntament de Palma
(City/town hall)
and then Palma Square,
and Jardí del Bisbe (a nice garden).
From there,
we followed a big crowd of people...
and all of a sudden,
we were already at very famous,
amazingly breathtaking Catedral de Mallorca!!!
One has to pay for entering the cathedral...
and of course we were not that interested in that!
So from a small opening,
where many people took pictures,
we managed to have a quick glance of it as well...
After visiting the cathedral,
so we walked back to the main bus terminal.
We passed by some cute monuments,
Sant Nicolau de Ciutat de Mallorca....
Dinner was taken somewhere nearby where we stayed....
Nothing super exciting..lol!
The next day morning,
it was time to take a taxi and head to the airport.
In a nutshell:
A nice week at Malloca with some sightseeing,
beach time,
work,
and diarrhea!!!
XOXO
