Our journey started
with driving from Sungai Petani
to Kuala Kedah~
When we reached at jetty,
we realized that the early boat (9.30am) that we planned to take
had already sold out~
So...
advice to travelers to Langkawi island with boat,
it is much easier to just buy the boat tickets online!
After 1.5 hours journey with boat,
finally we reached at Langkawi Kuah jetty~
Since we were already 1 hour delayed,
so we were all hungry~
The first place we drove to,
immediately after getting the car key
was this restaurant~
Lunch Teo Seafood Restaurant
(Just 3.8 KM from the jetty)
We ordered 5 dishes~
with beers
and tea,
it costed us MYR 172.
For eating out at a tourist island like Langkawi,
I would say the price was a bit high~
But luckily the food tasted quite good....
Hehe!
After the nice lunch,
we drove to
Adina ‘Drive-In’ Motel
to check in~
I booked 2 studio rooms for us.
Each studio room can fit 3 persons.
and I paid around MYR 150 for each room~
Overall the 'motel' is rather okay~
Cheap and walk-able distance to Cenang beach...
But the two things I need to complain are
Our room was slightly different
from the other studio room my parents got.
They had a small table and extra chairs!
and our toilet seat was not so comfortable
with some cracks
Otherwise,
it was kinda nice to stay there~
