From the bus stop,
we went to this Piazza Napoleone...
which has many nice stalls,
small cafe,
restaurants,
and shops.
From there,
we walked to Palazzo Pretorio
(Praetorian Palace)
And then just continued to
walk,
look at things...
Like this big bottle of wine...
and tones of artistic stuffs~
We walked and walked,
and ended up at Piazza Del Salvatore.
We simply chose a cafe there,
for our light lunch...
We chose this Gabry Cafe...
that served just OK food.
They were at least very honest
about their frozen pizza when we ordered it,
and we just said OK.
Another dish that we ordered
was a local spelt soup (7 Euro).
And that is a MUST try in Lucca!
After the light lunch,
we paid a visit to this church
Chiesa di San Salvatore,
which is located
just at the other corner at the same square.
After that we just
wondered around the streets,
and buildings...
until we ended up at another square...
Piazza dell'Anfiteatro.
Piazza dell'Anfiteatro
is a square with
many restaurants
and tourist shops~
Since we already had our lunch,
and was not even hungry at all....
we left the square
and continued the sight-seeing~
We realized suddenly
that we were no longer in the center of tourist area~
We went up to the defensive wall..
and started finding our direction back~
To be continued....
XOXO
