Yesterday afternoon,
we made a short trip to Fetsund Lenser,
which is a national culture heritage.
It was originally a base
for timber floating...
and today,
it has been made into
a floating museum...
They have a lot of tourist activities
going on during the summer,
like art museum,
boat trip,
etc etc.
The whole floating pathways cover
We walked until
this junction
that connects us back to land.
then started walking on the little forest
beside this BIG Glomma river.
Glomma river is also the longest river in Norway.
Along the riverbank.
there are many info about this Fetsund Lenser,
from their old time timber activity
to the process they fought to preserve and restore
this heritage.
From there,
you could also see the breathtaking view
of bridge in Fetsund
connecting the two sides of mainland.
We spent almost an hour there,
with the sightseeing ending with
seeing the restored boats
and other things...
Although there is stair that one can use
to enter those boats,
I really had no guts to do that.
Hehe!
After visiting Fetsund Lenser,
we had a short driving trip
to the 'city center' of Fetsund
and that's all!
XOXO
