-Day Seven-
There are tones of apartment complexes
at Maspalomas,
and we stayed at one of them
right opposite the Cita Shopping Center.
It is not a super super big shopping center,
but it has grocery store,
restaurants and all other stuffs one needs!
**and more :)
From its exterior one would think
that it is some sort of amazing park,
but actually it is kinda normal
+ adult-ish inside :)
The area we stayed is close to bus stop,
and also of course,
one of the main tourist attractions,
the sand dunes!!
The nearest Mercadona was only 20 ish minute
walk from where we stayed,
and one day we walked there,
had a stop at this local cafe
called Cafeteria Flor De Vainilla....
On the same day,
we visited the sand dunes
for the second time,
and this time with my camera,
and all the way to the beach area....
We DID not do that last time due to I forgot my camera,
plus the wind was blowing crazily
so it was difficult to walk through the dunes!
Yes,
I walked barefoot
and it felt WARM!
The walk felt kind like
endless,
because it was like walking in a desert!!
And after walking for around 30 minutes,
we finally saw "something"
where we could have a break,
and I ran immediately towards it to buy us some beers!
We were exhausted
and dehydrated!!!
After visiting the sand dunes,
we had our dinner
nearby where we stayed,
a German restaurant named
Restaurante Travolta.
OK food,
OK price....
and we were surprised
with the amount of Germans there!
P.S.:
Nothing negative meant here,
just that we felt more German than Spanish there
that's why!
To be continued...
XOXO
