11-07-2026 Bong & His Third Post in 2026 - 1.5 year ago....at Benidorm

After the New Year’s celebration,
our plan was to do some low‑key sightseeing,
like visiting this "attraction" on Google Maps.
and walking around
the neighbourhood area...
We walked along the roadside rather than on the beach,
all the way to the far end....
Only then did we walk back
along the beach to where we were staying.
We walked along another side of Platja Llevant,
looking around for a nice place for dinner....
At the end,
we ended up at this very popular chinese & indian restaurant,
"Restaurante Sherpa Asiático".
**While waiting it to be opened,
we had a beer at a kebab shop,
which was another interesting thing for us to experience....
The taste was OK,
price was OK (meaning not super cheap or expensive),
and the portion was only OK....
In the first evening of year 2025,
there were still people ready for party....
Beniform is definitely a great party city!
and we had the free dessert from
Q' Bolá Bar-Restaurante.
The next day,
we took a day-trip to L'Albir and Altea.
The tram station
was not far from where we stayed,
like only 30-minute walking distance.
Finding the way to the tram station was not difficult,
but to find a way to buy the ticket was more challenging than one would expect,
because there was almost no English info at the station,
and one should buy ticket using the machine on the tram itself!
Anyway,
everything went well for us,
and we came to L'Albir.
My impression with this city
is that this city has a lot of buffet restaurants!
From the tram station,
we walked to the beach,
Las Estrellas Promenade...
Another side of the beach,
is mountain with hiking trails.
From L'Albir,
we decided to walk to Altea....
and as always,
along the beach there were tones of interesting things to see...
It took us around an hour for this walk,
and we needed a break.
So we stopped at this place Tsunami
for a cup of coffee....
As we approached Altea,
we saw more and more yachts and art pieces like these.
and then,
of course we needed to challenge ourselves....
with more stairs!!!!
Actually the reason was to visit the famous
Església de Santa Maria del Consol d'Altea....
and to go to this catholic church,
we needed to walk uphill A LOT!
Along the way,
it was a lot of good views....
After a LONG walk,
finally we arrived at the church!
and it was definitely worth-it!
And we’ll never,
ever forget this Spanish man singing!
near by this observation deck,
Mirador de los Cronistas de España.
To be continued...
XOXO
