06-03-2016 Bong & Hat Yai (From Lee Garden & Central Market to Koh Lipe)

At night,

we walked to more 'central' area~

Starting with Lee Gardens Hat Yai Walking Street,

which is just right outside the Lee Gardens Plaza Hotel~

Besides selling clothes,

food...

there were also street performers who

were trying to earn some 'scholarship funds' ~

and

since we were there during Chinese New Year,

there was also parade for the festival!

We couldn't 

just walk

and shop...

So we just found a restaurant near to the market for dinner~

We ordered

Soya sauce chicken~

Fried pork meat

2 fried vege dishes..

And thai Tomyam!

Plus beers and drinks~

1060 baht for 6 people

at this restaurant that you can go in through front door or back door~

After staying 2 nights 

at Hat Yai city,

It was time for us

to move forward

to our next destination....

Koh Lipe~

We booked a private taxi 

with Cathay Tour Hatyai.

The taxi picked us up at our hotel~

and that costed 1500 baht

for a 1.5 hours taxi trip to Pakbara~

The private taxi

that drove us to Pakbara~

Then another 500 baht per person

to take boat from Pakbara to Koh Lipe~

We got our 

check in tickets and tags...

Then headed to the pier,

which costed another 20 baht per person

(just to enter and use the pier...how silly!)

May be those who wanna avoid

this entrance fee

can pretend not to know anything,

and walk from the other side of the building~

They retrieved our check in tickets

and

 gave us boarding pass...

(Another unnecessary and silly procedure)
