02-03-2017 Bong & Myanmar Trip Continues - Shwedagon Pagoda

The taxi drove us to

this entry of Shwedagon Pagoda...

and there we paid for entrance fees that costed

8000 Myanmar Kyat per person.

There are a total of 4 entry points

at Shwedagon Pagoda...

So if you are going there with more than one taxi,

better inform the taxi drivers first which entry point you want to go to....

We were lucky enough to meet at the same entry point

without telling the two different taxi 

which entry point we wanted to go to....

After paying, we took an elevator to go up.

We were wowed by 

everything in the Shwedagon Pagoda.

The only negative was perhaps

some reconstructions or repair works going on...

Looks like they also

got some influenced by the Chinese Buddhism

or culture...
