For our third day in Krakow,
we wanted to visit Kościuszko Mound.
But to get there,
we had to take uber!
Uber is cheaper than 4 public transport tickets,
We asked the Uber to drive us to
Księcia Józefa,
then from there we walked pass the cemetery
and churches...
climbed up the stairs and
all of the sudden,
we just popped up at the wrong entrance of
Kościuszko Mound!
To climb up this
artificial mound,
you need to pay for the ticket,
which also includes the entry to the museum...
The mound itself was built
to commemorate a great Polish leader and hero...
There are sculptors
of many famous polish
but we seriously got no idea who they were.
After a quick visit at the museum,
the lady at the ticket counter
opened this special gate for us....
Half way of our walk,
we could also see pappa sitting comfortably
at the outdoor seating
of the restaurant there.
Then it was time to
walk circling the mound....
The little hill gets steeper and steeper
as we were approaching its top....
and when we reached on top,
we were greeted by the nice view of Krakow!
After resting a bit on the top of the mound,
we walked down....
visited the restaurant,
museum...
and at last,
we used the proper way
to get ourselves out from
this beautiful place...
On our way back to Księcia Józefa,
we stopped and took some pictures at the catholic church,
Kościół pw. Najświętszego Salwatora
(No entry)
and this shrine....
Kaplica św. Małgorzaty i św. Judyty
After that,
we wanted to find a place to have lunch,
but we seriously couldn't find one.
We crossed the bridge,
and all we encountered were just old shop lots
and most of them looked like they have been abandoned
All of a sudden,
we saw this shop!!
and no more hesitation!
We wanted our lunch here!!!
Pappa mamma ordered their pig feet
but made in asian taste
while Arne and I ordered their ribs!
With so much food
and drinks,
we only paid PLN 116 (around NOK 226).
After the lunch,
we went back to this market
nearby our guesthouse....
From clothes to flowers,
and everyday stuffs...
you can find them cheap here!
And for our dinner,
we went to a little korean restaurant...
'Oriental Spoon'
They have this special soft drink
which you gotta open yourself...
lol!
The next day morning,
we left early from this 24 Guesthouse
because we got an early bus to catch....
To be continued....
XOXO
