04-04-2019 Bong & His First Trip to USA - Anaheim

I must say it was an interesting experience
staying in this kind of hotel
with big windows at one side
and we were totally exposed to the people passing by at the corridor...
The dinner that evening
was mexican...
at this Sabrosada Fresh Mexican Food
We always got our food packed like that
when we ate out at 'cheaper' place...
Guess it is just more cost and time saving
for them to run their business like that~
For me the food was good
but it wasn't that impressive for Arne.
We did explore other side of
Anaheim...

which is their residential side
out from Disney area....
We couldn't miss doing our favorite tasks
to do while traveling,
which is to see the local grocery store....
And this time it was interesting to see so big stores like
Food4Less and Walmart.
Lunch time
was at this Teppanyaki Grill Supreme Buffet...
The food was pretty good,
tones of choices
and cheap price of course!
One day,
we spent time walking around the Disney area...
It is free to enter the Downtown Disney
but we gotta go through security check....
After Disney,
we went to Anaheim GardenWalk...
Then we took our lunch at
Panda Kitchen....
Our dinner that evening was very
'american' in a way....
microwave instant food
bought from grocery store...
and some american muffins
(not american pies)
Lol!
Another restaurant that we had tried
in that row of shop lot
is Tanor Fresh Mediterranean Grill...
BIG portion and the chicken was super tender!
Not to forget,
we had fried chicken at McD ....
(HAPPY!!)
Finally the day I needed to present my article
had came
and before the presentation,
we had a simple lunch
at Baja Fresh Mexican Grill....
After the presentation
then it was pool and party time!
We were not alone at the pool
but we were alone at the restaurant
Gandhi Palace...
The next day,
I had an EARLY breakfast
with the other authors and reviewers,
then it was time to pack my stuffs,
check out
and say goodbye to Anaheim...
To be continued....

XOXO
-Bong-
