28-04-2015 Bong & His Trip to Trondheim Part 2 (Trondheim - From hotel to city)

Well,
let's talk about this hotel that Arne did not like~
- P Hotels Brattøra -
The room was okay...
but the bed was rather HARD
The shower was okay.....
Location was great because it was near to Nidelva &
the central train station~
After crossing this bridge,
then we walked to the other side of the city~
The whole city was rather quiet...
on Easter holiday~
Not so much cars
or even pedestrians on the streets...
Thon Hotel was looking really nice
in a sunny quiet morning~
We walked pass Bakke Bru
and the view was already very breathtaking...
through it wasn't super sunny that morning~
We were actually on our way to
meet up with Arne's son, Lars...
and on our way,
there were lots of old houses...
which are like in Grunerløkka area in Oslo
Then Lars guided us to our very first
tourist visit place in Trondheim...
which was just walking area from his apartment~
Stay tuned to see what it was?

18-04-2015 Bong & His Trip to Trondheim Part 1 (From Oslo to Trondheim)

During Easter holiday,
we traveled with NSB (Norwegian State Railway)
to third most populated city in Norway~
"Trondheim"
Since we had booked "Comfort Class" seats,
we had unlimited coffee and tea~
And...
the seats were rather big...
plus
the train was with wifi as well!
So it was just like business class in flight~
Along the way,
we passed by the biggest lake in Norway
and it was very good weather~
Sunny outside...with a nice view!
After sometimes,
we reached..
or more like passed by Lillehammer~
then the train continued its ride
to somewhere
higher...
colder...
and with more snow~
We departed around 2pm (Kl 1400)
from Oslo Sentral Station....
and
the train ride took about 7 hours~
Along the way,
there were just different
exotic + amazing
landscapes~
Then slowly
we were going lower
and lower again~
With comfort seats
and nice views,
the time did pass very FAST!
Around 9 in the evening,
finally we reached Trondheim Sentral station...
To be continued...

14-04-2015 Bong & Norway (When SUCK ME is in public!)

First of all,
for those who don't understand Norwegian...
What do you think that sentence mean?
SUG MEG!
Well..it means SUCK ME!

So...
you think this might appear in toilet?
or somewhere less public?
HELL NO...
It was spotted in this very
very old elevator!
It is so so old.....
as you can see from its 'buttons' for
selecting level~
And the door can only open
until this extend...
NOT ANY WIDER~

Funny huh?
XOXO

12-04-2015 Bong & His Trip to Penang Part 10 (The final post of its art, beauty & heritage)

There are more and more
both art preservation and development
in these recent years in Penang~
The famous street art
"Children playing basketball"
"Children on a swing"
where you can also place your children there and take picture~
Before we left this beautiful island,
we went to this shop again~
to shop a special souvenir that we really wanted!
This shop is highly being recommended
to pay a visit to~
14 Living Story (14 号生活馆)
This was where we went in the first day to write the chinese calligraphy~
Penang heritage
is always nice to be looked at~
We passed by old buildings that are kept how they looked like
from its initial construction~
Our last place to visit in Penang
was this Church Street Pier~
It looked kinda ...
not so interesting at the first glance~
But there was this
nice pub restaurant at the pier...
where people can enjoy some drinks,
food
and nice views~
So there was where and how we ended our trip~
Arne with his nice beer
and me with my selfie~
With all the things we bought at Penang,
we headed home with very nice memories of this place...

Hope to see you again,
Penang~
