12-03-2020 Bong & His First Time in Maldives - From snorkeling to dolphin excursion at Hudhuranfushi

After taking some rests,
we went to another side of the island
to try out snorkeling...
For those who live at the ocean villa,
of course it is a special experience,
but if they need to go to the restaurants and other places,
they need transport...
And after snorkeling,
of course we were hungry....
and after eating,
we were back in action again...
This time,
kayak!
and of course,
we wouldn't want to miss the opportunity
to experience
drinking inside the swimming pool...
where the bar
is basically right next to the swimming pool!
One of the most interesting parts in this trip...
is the dolphin excursion!
Before we departed,
they said we might or might not be able to see the dolphins....
It depends on the luck!
We signed up immediately
when we arrived at the resort.
So we were the very first to go on board....
I believe this is used
as a "steering wheel"...
lol!
We departed around 4pm,
and the boat took us pretty pretty far away from the resort...
So along the way,
we managed to see all kind of villas,
islands...

When we reached somewhere in the middle of the sea,
one of the boatmen went to the front of the boat
to look after the dolphins....
and all of a sudden,
we were joined,
or we joined "a group of boats"
looking after the dolphins...
Well,
those who follow me,
or us on Facebook knew that we did manage to see dolphins!

Around 630pm,
we were back to Hushuranfushi again,
and the workers were not finish unloading the stuffs.
This was the main reason why a trip to Maldives would cost so much
especially at the resort island,
because everything has to be transported!
For those who stay at Ocean Villa,
they have their dinner at Sunset restaurant.
If you are on honeymoon,
anniversary trip or something like that,
the resort could make special arrangements for you too!
We had some fried fish
at Beach Grill...
and enjoyed the sunset there
as well...
To be continued....

XOXO
-Bong-
