02-01-2019 Bong & His Trip to Malaga (From landing to the beach)

After a stressful day of work,
we headed to Gardemoen
took our flight to Malaga
and started our short 'runaway'...
We landed at Malaga around 630pm
and everything went super smooth...
We took a bus from the airport,
and in 30 minutes...
we already arrived at the hotel!
Hotels in Malaga generally are pretty expensive...
We stayed at this Barceló Málaga
with nice bed,
welcome gifts,
and also cash rebate
of 10 euro
which we used to purchase a bottle of red wine at the bar :)
The hotel is located
right beside the main central station,
and for my very first spanish dinner in Spain...
we went to this
Cafetería Restaurante Juandi
ordered some nice seafood...
grilled fish (I can't remember what fish it was)
and of course,
calamares!
The next day morning,
we walked towards the river
from our hotel...
From the iron bridge,
we walked towards
the beach area...
On the way,
we had to fill our stomach...
Our first breakfast in Malaga
 was at this cozy cafe
Al Grano

Not far from the cafe,
we came to the famous statue
Fischerdenkmal
From there,
we walked to
Palmeral De Las Sorpresas
From Octupus
Goerge town to helicopter on the cruise boat,
we were enjoying our sight-seeing
at this modern garden walk...
From there,
we walked to the famous beach,
Playa la Malagueta...
It was a nice walk
along the beach
and from there,
we walked towards the
old town area...
but of course,
we did look at other shops along our way as well,
not just the wine shop...
We also passed by the famous bullring,
Plaza de toros de La Malagueta
but it seemed like it was only open for the
escorted/guided tour...

To be continued...
XOXO
