After only sleeping for not more than 3 hours
**even less for Arne**,
we continued our driving from Alta to Nordkapp...
After hours of driving
through different kind of weathers,
from a bit sun
and then heavy rain
to super cloudy...
we finally arrived at NordKapp!
**with Arne looking tired
because of lack of sleep
and very challenging driving conditions**
There are not so much to find
at Nordkapp (North Cape)...
Because it was so cold
(around five degrees at that time),
and we only had summer clothes,
we had a super quick glance at the Children of Earth...
then the nice, exotic surrounding
around it....
and of course,
the Globe Monument!!
After 10-minute sight-seeing,
we went back to the car...
first was because we were really really tired
after a long drive and little sleep.
and we wanted to wait until the shops
there to open as well!
We took a long nap
in the car for more than an hour,
and when we woke up,
we were surrounded by
super duper thick fog...
The fog was at least 2-3 meters
and we rarely saw the main building there!
After doing our shopping,
and having a cup of warm coffee to warm us up,
we continued the journey!
We drove again
through storm, rain,
and finally sun....
Our second overnight place
was this interesting fishing village,
named Repvåg.
We arrived there
way too early
and there was no reception,
or anyone that we could speak to....
Luckily I found someone at their "restaurant"
and they informed us to come back later...
**It was interesting walking around the "hotel"**
We went back to the car,
had another nap,
and then tried to "explore" a bit there....
Obviously we were a bit too early
with the cloudberries there!

After sleeping quite OK for a few more hours this time,
we woke up early again as usual
and started our driving back "home".
But before heading home,
we decided to stop by a town,
Hammerfest!
Having more than 10000 inhabitants,
Hammerfest is the northernmost town in the world....
First tourist attraction,
Hammerfest Church.
Then a 15-min walk
through the city center :)
**The fast speed was due the unpleasant weather**
Super windy and cold
Then one last stop,
Struve Geodetic Arc at Fuglenes!
Surprisingly, a small place like Hammerfest has several districts :)
Around the area,
there was quite a lot of shit;
precisely reindeer shit!
