One of the yearly summer activities
is to visit Kjell at Storsteinnes...
and this year,
besides spending two nights for the visit,
we also went for sight-seeing.
First trip was to the nearby small place,
Tennes....
At first I had no idea
what were so interesting to visit
in the forest area here....
and they even had to build
pathways in the middle of
this area...
We followed the sign and pathways,
and finally arrived at this area with 'big stones'....
Wait a second,
there were carvings
on these rocks!
Balsfjord Kirke (Balsfjord church)
is also located there....
From there,
we walked to the pier....
to enjoy the view of chrystal clear water,
blue clear sky...
Ah....
what a breathtaking scenery!
For our way home,
we used another road
around Josefvatnet....
The next day,
we drove to Senja!
We drove to Senja in 2015 with the Furumo family,
but it was more of middle part...
so this time we intended to explore the north part.
After passing Finnsnes,
we drove to Gibostad, then further to
Lysnes...
Through the mountains
and tunnels...
which are narrow but bright....
to narrow and dark....
and the temperature
dropped from 20 degrees to only 10 degrees!
Suddenly,
we popped out at this scenic
Fjordgård!
