03-12-2017 Bong & His First Time Tasting Goulash & Bohemian Food

From Malostranská,
we took a tram to Malostranské náměstí
We walked around
and in just a few minutes,
decided to dine at this U Schnellů Restaurant already.
The restaurant is decorated with drink coasters...
from walls to tables...
We ordered their two different menu set.
Set A starter: Goulash soup
Set B starter: Traditional Bohemian onion soup
Set A main course:
Succulent roast pork served with potato dumplings
and braised white cabbage
Set B main course: "Schnell" beef goulash with Bohemian dumplings
Set A dessert: Homemade apple strudel
Set B dessert: Homemade cake
With two glasses of wine,
we only paid 1035 Crezh Crowns.
(About 330 NOK, 150 MYR)
Overall the food was above OK,
and prices were of course more tourist price.
But for a famous restaurant located in tourist area,
we were satisfied with what we got :)
From the restaurant,
we walked towards the little road 'Letenská'
where you could see
how the tram goes through this small
'tunnel'
between plus underneath the buildings.
Since the tramway is only enough for one,
so sometimes the trams have to wait for each other
to drive through the tunnel.
Another side of the tunnel,
is another tunnel for other vehicles
and of course, pedestrians~
We walked a little bit around Malostranská,
and from there we by mistake,
took tram 12 to Anděl.
We came to this shopping area,
and from there
Arne managed to buy his winter coat
at the shopping center Nový Smíchov.
After the shopping,
we spent like 10 minutes,
waiting for the bus.
May be because of rush hour there was big delay with the busses around that area.
So,
I decided to study more about the sign and symbol
of public transport system in Praha,
and found out this lift,
which seems to be the only 'accessible' way to go to underground subway
at that area....
We managed to go down to the underground
and had to walk through many passageways...
until the extend that Arne was annoyed!
At last I managed to prove to him that,
we could use the subway to go back to our hotel...
and during rush hour,
that was a much better option!
We went back to our hotel for a rest,
and then around 9pm,
we went out again for a late dinner.
This time
it was Asian food's turn.
We ate at this Gui Lin Chinese restaurant
which was just right behind our hotel.
We ordered fried noodles,
fried shrimps
and red wine
which only costed us
393 Crezh Crones
(About 130 NOK, 65 MYR)

After the late dinner,
or supper,
we headed to our first night out at Prague...

To be continued...
XOXO
-Bong-
