18-02-2025 Bong & His Second Post in 2025 - Bangkok after CNY 2024 - Part 2/2

The boat trip brought us
to a temple,
and we were allowed to walk around 20-30 minutes there.
In the canal itself,
there was a lot of fish!!!
that were used to visitors feeding them,
I believe :)
They were ready
with their mouths open when we were standing
nearby!
Then on our way home
they stopped at a local market,
where tourists could buy bread and feed the fish from the boat....
Guest what...
we were soaked by the water splashing from those fish
fighting for a bite from the bread....

At the very end of the trip,
not sure what happened...
but the boat's motor stopped working,
and we were stuck under the big hot sun,
warm and humid!!
**Probably because those fighting fish spoiled
the motor of the boat...lol
After getting back to the land,
we walked to another floating market,
Song Khlong Floating Market,
which is less than 10-minute walking distance from
Taling Chan Floating Market.
and they have very nice walkway,
with signs and decorations....
Song Khlong Floating Market
is a lot smaller than Taling Chan Floating Market.
There was a quite big temple at the entrance,
and the food sold there was
a lot more authentic
and slightly cheaper!
They also had better place
for dining...
Better space,
less crowded,
better air flow,
less hot :)
and not to forget,
the tables were all right beside the canal,
so you could also enjoy good view
when eating!
In the evening,
we had massage
and not so very spicy thai food :)
**Last night in Bangkok, that's why**
This Noddle Bar was right beside
the Malaysia Hotel we were staying.
The next day,
we had a BIG breakfast
at the Miracle lounge
**The one Finnair Business Class offered to us.**
The food was OK,
but the fresh dumpling soup was GREAT!!!
Since we did not pay to book our seats,
we did not sit together.
**Yes, with Finnair Business Class
you need to pay for choosing your seat as well**
The food was of course,
A LOT better than economy class.
This did not come as a shock to us,
but what really was surprising was the big difference
in the quality!
Like Qatar, its economy wasn't that bad at all!
Since it was more than 10-hour flight,
and it was day flight,
I paid for internet and was working most of the time....
So,
it was a lot of working,
eating,
drinking,
and enjoying life while Arne was mostly eating, drinking and sleeping :)

XOXO
