06-03-2017 Bong & From Shwedagon Pagoda to Dinner at Chinatown

There is a gallery where
they showcase the history
and other nice pictures of Shwedagon Pagoda.
Here are the rules for
the foreign tourists at  Shwedagon Pagoda~
The pagoda was so big
and we used almost 2 hours
to 'quickly' go through
the whole pagoda...
Buddha statue
that is made of jade....
After the 'a lot of walking'
two hours tour,
then we took taxi
to Chinatown...
Since we were all rather
skeptical with the street food in Yangon,
so we walked a few blocks around Chinatown
and finally managed to find this restaurant
that looked rather OK.
This
Oriental House Restaurant
is at Bo Ywe Road.
We ordered 4 dishes
with beers and mineral water
and it costed only
30200 Myanmar Kyat.
(190 NOK, 95 MYR)
Not just the prices were cheap,
the food was rather nice too!

To be continued...

XOXO
