22-06-2018 Bong & His Malacca Trip - Part 4: From Portuguese Square to Kuala Lumpur

From Bukit China,
we google-map'ed and decided to walk to the
Portuguese Square...
After 1 stop with ice coffee
and 20 minutes of walking,
we finally reached Portuguese Square...
where we were greeted
by this nice Christ the Redeemer statue
the moment we came.
We walked into this Portuguese Square
around 1pm
and the only open restaurant was this
Restaurant De Lisbon.
The food was okay,
the price was okay...
but the most memorable part of this restaurant for Arne was
their very refreshing fruit juice!
After the lunch,
we had a little time
to walk around...
and enjoy the view of Malacca Straits.
Lol!
We took Grab back to hotel after that,
and Arne showed me a shop
that he was very interested in!
This is the shop,
Heuman Studio.
They do have quite a lot of handmade stuffs
that are nice and special...
For our last dinner at Malacca,
we chose The Geographer Cafe.
The food was just OK,
so I wouldn't recommend this restaurant
sorry...
While I went out to meet Jui Boon,
Arne was having his pedicure at this shop
right opposite The Geographer Cafe.
What I would like to say is,
don't ever
ever go to this shop,
because they charged us extra with very lame reasons.
The next day,
we checked out our room,
spent a bit time at the hotel's historical room
and then,
we went straight to Melaka Sentral
to take the bus to Kuala Lumpur.
After approximately 2 hours,
we arrived at Terminal Bandar Tasik Selatan...
We took KLIA transit
to KL sentral...
had our lunch at Kenny Roger
NU sentral...
then met up with my sister, Lay San
so that she could pick us up and drive us to her lovely apartment...
To be continued...

XOXO
