The boat trip started from Agios Sostis Harbor,
and took about 2 hour.
Along the way,
we saw many other boats too,
from big one to private small one...
From visiting caves
to stopping at sand beaches for a swim,
it was lots of activities going on!
And for us,
who were on the boat going to Navagio Beach,
we were enjoying sightseeing,
amazed by interesting cliffs,
small towns on top of the hills,
the roads connecting small towns,
etc etc...
And not to forget,
who crystal blue
the water was!!
After around 40 minutes,
we came nearer and nearer
to a spot where the water became more and more
crystal blue....
With lots of different boats,
more activities around us,
and we understood that we were approaching
the shipwreck.
It was amazing
to be so close to something so historical...
but before 2022, the visitors could even walk around the beach there!
The beach was closed after a landslide happened in Sep 2022....
After visiting the shipwreck,
our tour continued with visiting caves
and beaches...
Of course,
we needed to have a swim!!!
and I had my very first hop into the ocean!
Yes!!
that's poseidon cliff face,
and then Porto Steinitis!!
The surrounding,
the landscape at Porto Steinitis
was just special!
Then last spots,
Myzithre and Keri Caves!
Then Agalas caves!
Even different colours
at the surfaces in the caves!
And not to forget how the boat this big
managed to be navigated through the narrow caves!
Spectacular!
That's all for the
2-3 hour trip on boat!
And the minivan took
us back to the hotel!
